No more fuss, perfect brows every time!

Microblading is a relatively new form of semi-permanent make-up. Eyebrows play such an integral role in how well we present ourselves on a day to day basis. Everyone wants to look and feel beautiful. We spend hours in front of the mirror fixing our hair, putting on makeup, and trying to look our best. But there is only so much you can do with your eyebrows when you lack the necessary amount of hair needed to shape your brows to fit your face.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a manual method of implanting pigment in hair like strokes in the epidermis to create the look of fuller brows. This form of tattooing is the newest trend in SemiPermanent Makeup. The naturallooking results are achieved with a handheld blade made up of 7+ microneedles. Instead of outlining and completely filling in the outline of your brows with colour, microblading actually allows for the placement of hair like strokes into the skin. Whereas traditional tattooing uses needles on a rotary/coil machine to push ink 7 layers deep into the skin, microblading uses a manual blade and only targets 3 layers of skin. Because the pigment sits so superficially in the skin the strokes are sharp, crisp, and they mimic the look of real hair!

Your new brows will last anywhere between 1-3 years depending on the environmental exposure it receives. What is the typical process for Microblading?

You will be asked to complete the intake sheet and review the aftercare. I will measure and draw the outline that best suits your face, style, and lifestyle. After agreeing on the shape and colour, a topical numbing cream will be applied.

For the procedure 3-5 passes are completed on each brow and more anesthetic gel is applied to brows in between each pass. This is followed by a pigment soak to saturate the strokes. To complete the process, a healing balm is applied and you are sent home with after-care instructions.
You must have a patch test at least 24 hours before your appointment
You might be asked to return in 4-6 weeks for a top-up session in which we will reinforce the colour and make any necessary changes.
